Jamie and Jared were married on October 16th at one of my favorite hotels, The Mission Inn! Jared is in the Marine Corps and was stationed overseas during the entire year of planning, so Jamie was able to surprise him with lots of beautiful details. It was important to Jamie to personalize their big day to honor Jamie’s service to his country and their families; so HMC Event Solutions came up with some wonderful surprises.

For the ceremony, Jared wore his formal Marine Corps uniform. On the gift table, we placed a handmade box for the couple’s cards, which Jamie decoupaged with pictures of her and Jared over the years. Jamie’s last name is Meyer, and so naturally, the guests dined on Meyer Lemon Chicken. A candy station with all of their favorite treats ws set up for guests, but HMC Event Solutions put together a miniature display of all of Jared’s favorites, which was placed on his place setting, especially for him.

Each couple was given a pint of home-brewed beer with custom labels made by Jamie’s grandfather as they left the reception. Jamie was the perfect happy bride who smiled all day long! She never showed an ounce of stress and was so full of energy and excitement! I created a lovely bouquet for Jamie of deep red calla lilies and the bridesmaids carried roses in a refreshing color combination of lavenders, reds, light oranges and hot pink. The reception flowers consisted of tall arrangements, using these same colors. Thank you Enchanted Portraiture for this great slide show! Enjoy!
