Rancho Las Lomas is a very beautiful and unique place. Jeannie Lawrence and her late husband had always dreamed of building their home as a small village, with bungalows and a view of the breathtaking rolling hills. They turned their dream into a reality, using recycled salvage materials like old doors, windows, brick and lumber, and filling the buildings with original finds.

Jeannie is very inspired by natural beauty, not only in California, but around the world. She’s brought back amazing things from her time away from home. (But why would you ever want to leave Rancho Las Lomas?!) Her favorite flowers are roses and the stone-washed garden pathways are lined with them. She is a gardener and loves all things in nature and has opened up her beautiful home to guests from all over the world.

I recently did a photo shoot at Rancho Las Lomas and have a few pictures to share with you. Enjoy!

I had a blast working on the photo shoot for Ceremony magazine with Revelry Event Designers on Wednesday! Edgar Zamora is such a talented and delightful person to work with and the amazing Marianne Lozano was the photographer! I can’t wait to see the photos! I’m not allowed to give away any details about the photo shoot, (buy the magazine!) but I have a few pictures to share with you. Enjoy!

Tyler and Kelli wanted to get married in Vegas, but they just couldn’t imagine their dream wedding without some of their favorite vendors to help make it happen. So, Ambiance Designs, Cean One Photography and Simply Cakes got to go on a Vegas road trip!

Tyler and Kelli chose the gothic art-filled Artisan Hotel for their wedding venue. Their black, white and red wedding color scheme and rock ‘n roll aesthetic coordinated perfectly with the Artisan. I created a beautiful Baccara and Black Magic Roses and Eggplant Mini Callas with rhinestones bouquet for Kelli. The bouquet’s wrap consisted of white satin with a black ribbon and pearl pin accents.

I LOVE black and gold! This royal cake by Simply Cakes is just amazing!
